Life honouring permaculture company.Ron Berezan is the founder and proprietor of The Urban Farmer and is joined by colleagues internationally in this work.
He has a close working relationship foundations in Cuba and regularly takes groups of Canadians to Cuba for educational tours and permaculture internship opportunities.
Ron is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church of Canada with an earth justice ministry focus. He coordinates the Sycamore Commons Community Permaculture Project at his home parish of St. David and St. Paul's in Powell River BC. Ron has worked with a variety of faith communities drawing the links between permaculture, Creation care and the spiritual journey.
Consulting services are available to organizations, community groups, businesses, families and individuals. Grounded in the ethics and principles of permaculture design, consultations aim to foster deep interconnections between people and place and to support the creation of resilient local food systems and landscapes that are biodiverse, productive and beautiful. This may range in scale from individual urban lots to small farms, to urban public spaces or subdivisions and to community or municipal projects and initiatives.
