Four Season Greens

Four Season Greens is a producer of sprouts and micro-greens in Muskoka, operating since 2010. They supply most of the restaurants in Muskoka, specialty retail outlets, resorts and caterers with fresh produce year-round. Individuals also purchase through the sprout subscription program ("CSA") The sprouts and micro-greens are produced using only certified organic sprouting seed, and all the inputs are chemical-free.

Their present goal is to create an aquaponic food production system prototype in a greenhouse that is sustainable, winterized, efficient, local, certified organic and food safety audited (Canada GAP). Once they have created a 4-season aquaponics greenhouse as sustainably and economically as possible, they hope to share their knowledge with others who are interested in enhancing food security in their own regions, or their own backyards.
