15th International Permaculture Conference Taiwan 2024
Life honouring permaculture event.The 15th International Permaculture Convergence Connecting Urban and Rural Communities for a Resilient Future The IPC has been held every 2~3 years since 1984, hosted in a different region each year by local practitioners. The IPC 2024 will take place on November 30th to December 1 2024 Taiwan with additional courses before and after the conference. The Conference portion of IPC15 features 2 days of presentations, panel discussions, and cultural exchanges with an expected turnout of 500 participants from all over the world. The main theme of the event “Connecting Urban and Rural Communities for a Resilient Future” is woven together with the threads of six subthemes chosen to focus on practical steps for permaculture Pathways to Resilience. IPC15 Convergence Taiwan 2024 presents a unique opportunity for individuals already familiar with permaculture (PDC graduates) to come together and delve deeply into the Convergence’s themes and beyond. This Convergence will be a residential, experiential learning event spanning 7 days, taking place at Taromak Village in Taitung County, Taiwan from December 4 to December 10, 2024. The event is expected to attract over 500 participants, each contributing to the diverse program. The core of this event will include networking, knowledge sharing, practical hands-on experiences, and joyful celebrations.
